College and Career Readiness Conference

The College and Career Readiness Conference brings together secondary teachers, high school and middle school counselors, cooperative education coordinators, and administrators for conference sessions on current, relevant educational topics. This year, Hans Meeder, President of the National Center for College and Career Transitions (NC3T) and author of The Power and Promise of Pathways, will give a presentation on connecting pathways, CTE and STEM. Attendees will learn the benefits and impact of a pathways system and how an alliance between business, community, and education can work together to plan Pathway Programs and a Pathway System. Participants will also have the opportunity to tour Penn College's campus, the Earth Science Center, and/or the Aviation Center and participate in hands-on demonstrations in a wide variety of technical programs on campus.
